Carolyn Dunlap grew up in the Asheville area. Her family moved to Asheville in the 60's when her father, Ben Treece, became President of Buncombe Construction Company. She attended NC State University and graduated in Parks and Recreation Administration. After returning home, she went to work with her father at Buncombe Construction Company and raised her son, Kyle. She continued to work at BCC after her Father's retirement and was their Safety Director for the last 13 years.
Having earned her real estate license in 1986, working with Browne Properties and transitioning into the full time real estate business seems to be a good fit for Carolyn. She has been involved with construction and real estate for over 28 years has also helped manage rental properties for her family. Her knowledge of the area and love for Western North Carolina, has given her a good foundation for helping others find a home they can love for years.
She has varied interests but loves playing golf, traveling, and spending time with family. Because of the beauty of the mountains and great family and friends, she loves calling Asheville home.
